Attach text notes to your portfolios using the Edit->Notes menu in Portfolio Lab as shown below. The notes are saved with the portfolio using the same privacy and encryption processes used for the portfolio positions data.

As a convenience, the first line of the notes is displayed in the porfolio list view.
